The PTO is powered by SWES families, and there are lots of ways to be part of it.
You don’t have to join the board, attend every meeting or take on a huge commitment. Some families help at events. Some donate supplies. Some share a skill or idea. Some support fundraisers. Some volunteer regularly, and others jump in when they can.
It all makes a difference.
Volunteer
Throughout the year, we need help with events, teacher and staff appreciation, fundraisers, school activities and other PTO projects. Opportunities vary — and many don’t require a big time commitment.
Join a Meeting
Want to know what’s coming up or share an idea? PTO meetings are a great way to hear what’s happening at SWES. And no, attending a meeting does not mean you’re signing yourself up for a job.
Share Your Talents
Event planning. Photography. Graphic design. Decorating. Fundraising. Technology. Organization. Community outreach. If there’s something you enjoy doing, there may be a way to put it to use at SWES.
